You can see the gaps from this roof deck board. This is the space between two boards that were not joined originally. This is most likely the original deck boards of this home, constructed in the 1930s. It would not be wise to attempt to reef this home without intending to replace the entire roof deck.

This portion of the roof was not damaged by storms. And that is OK. But obviously, this roof is in bad shape and old.
