This is a returning happy customer.  The tree appears to have struck the front porch causing gutter, soffit, facia board, and roof damage.  This type of storm damage can require an insurance claim process.  The homeowner has already filed a claim and Litespeed Construction is inspecting this property and roof to see if it is a good fit for us to help with.

    In this photo, you can see that a tarp has been draped over the area of impact on the front porch and the tree has already been removed from the house. Further investigation is needed.

    Damages to vinyl soffit fascia and gutter

    Tree fell on the house in wind storm insurance funded wind damaged roof, facia and soffits in Knoxville Tennessee

    In this close-up photo, you can see the vinyl soffit is contorted and the facia has been pushed down and broken. The facia wood as well as the metal behind the gutter will need to be removed and replaced as needed in order to restore.

    There is possible damages to the structure of this roof and the roof deck boards

    In this photo, you can see an example of broken plywood after shingles have been removed. This will be the case where the tree made the largest impact. It is evident from the contour of the roof that this is present underneath the shingles.

    Broken and busted plywood or OSB sheathing can easily go undetected under shingles after an impact

    Branches appear to have caused no damage on the main portion of the home. The roof appears to be intact as well as the ridge vent and ridge cap

    Wind damage fallen tree branches seem to have caused no damage to other parts of the roof. The damage appears to be concentrated on the front edge of the porch only

    In this photo, you can see where the tree has been cleaned from the roof and the main house in a larger portion of the roof are unaffected but impact. The damage appears to be concentrated on the front edge of the front porch of the home.
