Knoxville Roofers Proposes Roof Replacement vs. Repair; Owner Chooses to Replace Old Roof
Roof repairs to chimney, skylight, and several locations. The property owners ultimately decided against doing the repairs and got the entire roof replaced.
This project used GAF Timberline HDZ shingles with Slate color. This project had several boards that we replaced, and the owners of this property are very, very pleased with the results.
To stop this roof leak, this skylight needs to be reflashed. The skylight can be maintained to save on costs.
Boxing in this section of the roof with siding makes the most sense.
The height of this pipe may need to be extended upward.
Repair vs. Replace Roof
The rear gutters need to be repitched, and a downspout is added. This will prevent these gutter guards from pushing up the shingles.

We always inspect our projects after we complete them. This roof has been finished and the customer wants to take a look at some of the details so we provide a quick video To show them the project.
Not all of the boards that we replaced are in this image but this is a good chunk of them there was just way too wide of gaps here for us to be comfortable roofing.
