Litespeed Construction Fixes Metal Roof Leak in Sevierville, TN. We were contacted about a roof leak in a cabin that was coming in at the ceiling fan. We went out to the property and did a roof inspection finding several issues and fixing them all.

- 1Missing screw leaving a open hole
After seeing a hand full of very loose screws and raised ridge cap metal, I noticed an area that had previously been caulked as I got closer, I noticed that there was a screw missing where the caulk was leaving a wide-open hole right at the top of the roof. The washer was still stuck in the caulk, but no screw.
I filled the hole with sealant and put a heavier gauge screw in the hole.

Along the edge of the ridge cap, I found screws backing way out. There were also random holes in the metal where someone had added a screw and missed wood, so they took the screw out and left an open hole.
I pulled out the screw, caulked all the holes, and put the screw back in much tighter.
