Litespeed Construction replaced the roof on this home in Andersonville, TN, with Certainteed shingles. The roof had older shingles and about 6 rotten boards. The boards had rot where water had been getting into the home. The ridge was also not cut wide enough to let the roof breathe. The ridge was cut 2 inches on each side along the entire roof, and ridge vents were installed.

The ridge was cut back to 2 inches on each side to give the roof more room to breathe. Then a new ridge vent was installed.
