The rotten boards were replaced before the roof was covered with synthetic underlayment.

The ridge was cut back to 2 inches on each side to give the roof more room to breathe. Then a new ridge vent was installed.

The new roof that was installed was with Certainteed Charcoal shingles. The roof was installed with starter shingles, ridge vent, and new pipe boots.
