Standing Seam Metal Roof Repair. There are several places where this metal roof is having problems. This is the original metal roof installed 20 years ago.

So the repairs at Litespeed construction will be replacing one piece of ridge cap that was blown off—adding a new transition flashing.

    This is a picture of a metal roof that has a gap between a panel and flashing in Knoxville Tennessee

    So this panel of Metal has to be covered to prevent roof leaks this is not all the way across the section of the roof this is near Valley and this one piece of the panel did not come all the way up to the transition flashing. This can definitely cause roof leaks and we will need to cover this while we are repairing this roof.

This dormer needs to be caulked in the front and up the sides

    This flashing needs to be caulked and so does the front of the Dormer

    This metal roof has a couple of different locations that need to be caulked this is one of the main ones. And we also need to caulk the front window on the dormer as well.

Sealed Up Dormer

    We sealed up where the siding meets the metal to prevent any water from getting through there.

    We sealed up the front portion of the siding to prevent any water that runs off from getting into the home.

Sealed Ridge Cap

    Added new metal to 2 ridge caps that were exposed. This will preven water from running down inside

Transition Flashing Sealed

    Transition Flashing That Was Covered

    Added a new piece of metal about 20 feet long to cover transition flashing and sealed. Used gasket screws to prevent leaks. This will ensure that water runs off instead of running back and into the home.

    We resealed all spots that had old caulking. We also sealed any cracks that could possibly be the culprit of leaks.
