Old metal ridge vents cause Leaks. This is because Roof leaks can come in the gaps of the ridge vent and leaks can come through the exposed nails on the ridge vents that are not sealed.

The picture above is of a shingle that has a lot of granular loss and therefore is worn out and the picture below is of a shingle that has blistering. Both of these are reasons that this roof is getting replaced.

This residential roof is in bad shape and has a hole in it where someone might’ve stepped through it this tarp is covering the whole and blistering and we’re not shingles of the reason that this roof needs to be replaced along with the fact that it is 20 years old.
