Upon inspection of this cantilevered concrete and flat membrane awning , I discovered that the taper is incorrect and the front curb is not tall enough for sufficient splash guard and overtopping prevention. This is a fairly unusual shape and size and a diamond pattern is recommended for maximum water management along with a built up curb at the front to act as a splashguard and prevent water from over topping when it is filling rapidly. It is recommended that the customer hire someone to install underground drain pipe along front of building at flower bed to lower grade.
