Reroof in Historic District Knoxville TN. A beautiful old home in Knoxville Tn needs a new roof. Several valleys and penetrations will need ice and a water shield. Some of the decking under the roof will need to be replaced. The flat roof on top appears to be in good condition. Several areas on the house will need a larger profile flashing to cover old tar, and several more areas will need step and counter flashing at walls. Chimneys will need new flashing and the detail to the existing flat roof on top. The siding will need to be cut back in some areas to install new step flashing. Note that the siding already needs repair and will need more after the roof is complete. We are going to add in a quote for siding repair also. We are also recommending chimney caps for all chimneys.
