Close up view of exposed nail head at eave of roof.

Why anyone would use 3-inch nails in such thin wood is beyond me. These nails were put in under the architectural tab of the shingles through the bottom shingle and through the metal and fascia, leaving the remaining 2 and a half inches sticking out the back of the wood. Bottom line, Sloppy work!

    • The metal they used wasn’t bent properly, was too thin metal for how they bent it.      Results = wavy, bent up, crooked, sloppy-looking work. This is a view of white drip edge that was not installed properly.
