Insurance Funding for Roof Replacement is always Cool!
This property had an insurance claim filed before light speak instruction got involved. The insurance Adjuster paid for the roof and some inside damages. We are proposing to increase the insurance valuation for our customer by several thousand dollars. Litespeed Construction primarily looks for roof gutters and small painting work at the facia and soffit.
This hole could cause a leak in the chimney that would appear a lot like a roof leak suggests having a Mason attend this. Litespeed Construction can also backfill this crack in a hole with silicone. A mason is not available.
This chimney is in a unique position because it is a valley where water can pond behind it. The best recommendation is to put a membrane behind the chimney if water ever stands. A cricket cure would not necessarily solve the problem. It might be going to cause worse ponding at this chimney.
This can cause problems with moisture building up in the attic space and with excess heat in the attic. The gable vents allow air to breathe in and the ridge vents allow air to breathe out!
This section of roof will require ice and water shield as an underlayment, not just synthetic felt.
