    Shingles Have Some Damage

    Various shingles on this roof have visible damage on them. Many of these shingles have granule loss on them, and there is also a couple of holes in some of the shingles.

    Shingles Are Not Being Held Down

    Most of the shingles on this roof can be easily pulled up. The glue strip on the shingles is no longer holding them down as well. This is extremely important, so water doesn’t get in under the shingles.

    Pipe Boots In Bad Shape

    The back side of this roof has five boots, and they are all in bad shape. These boots have deteriorated and would be very easy for water to get in and cause problems inside the home.

    Old Metal Ridge Vent

    This home has an old metal ridge vent. These are not the best, and when we install the new roof, it will be getting a new bigger plastic ridge vent that will allow the roof to breathe better and extend its life of the roof.
