Old Three Tab Roof in Knoxville, TN, needs new shingles. It has an older three-tab roof with lots of issues. There are missing tabs over the roof, many nail pops, and a few soft spots. We will be proposing GAF architectural shingles with synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield, starter shingles, ridge vent, and new pipe boots.
This roof has missing tabs all over. The missing tabs are likely to wind damage and will make it easy for water to enter the home.
All the pipe boots on this roof are in rough shape and dry rotting. All of the boots will be replaced with the installation of the new roof.
Many nails are popping over this roof, including on the ridges and coming out of the tabs. Nail pops make it easy for unwanted water to enter the home. 
This roof will be getting the GAF Golden Pledge to ensure maximum protection for our customer’s home.
