Reroofing Owens Corning Duration Shingles in Fountain City

These trim boards will need to be replaced along with some other trim on the home when the roof and gutters get replaced.

This fainting porch would need a membrane roof probably an EPDM Rubber roof. The low portion of this flat roof Would need a membrane. There’s a small gable coming off that we could use singles for and we agree with our customer this will look better.

We are suggesting removing this old wood and stucco railing from the roof and adding back aluminum railing here. This would be 36 inches high it’s approximately the same height look very attractive and comes in white and black. This roofing feature on the front of this home is one that I would like to see kept.  

This stucco chimney would need some work on the stucco itself, repairing holes and worn portions of stucco. This would require scaffolding and very hyper-curious work by stucco and painting crews. 

This chimney cap is rusted and 30 years old plus. It is going to need to be replaced as the chimney is being repaired. Our recommendation is to remove this Chimney when we are reroofing so that there’s no need to restock oh repaint and add a new chimney cap on.

Because this is a gas chimney, It would be easy to bring a double wall pipe through the roof and flash to this. That would look something like the pipe shown here. No maintenance is required for easy assembly.
